Ann Bailey is charged with improperly trying to enlist in the Colonial Army.

(Aug.) Bailey, who had tried to enlist under the names Samuel Gray, pleads guilty when brought before the Superior Court of Judicature (today’s Supreme Judicial Court). She is sentenced to two months in jail and fined 16 pounds and court costs.
